Ingredients 250g minced beef steak 1 small onion Large handful flatleaf parsley and mint 2 cloves garlic 1 egg Olive oil Black pepper and salt to season
Preparing the qofte.
1 Chop the onion as finely as possible and add to the minced meat. Chop the parsley and mint and crush the garlic.
2 Mix the onions, meat, herbs and garlic. Beat the egg and add it to the mixture. Season with a little black pepper and salt.
3 Form the mixture into small balls and flatten them to make patties.
4 Fry the patties 5 at a time in a little olive oil until well-cooked.
5 Put them in the oven to keep warm while you fry the remainder.
Enjoy! These are delicious served with mashed potato and feta cheese and salad.
