17 January 2008: Launch of British Albanian Kosovar Council at the House of Commons
Lord Carlile of Berriew hosted a reception to mark the event in the Members' Dining Room in the House of Commons. Dr Noel Malcolm, author of 'A Short History of Kosovo' and acclaimed academic and literary reviewer, spoke warmly about the work of AYA. Other speakers included Dr Muhamet Hamiti, Senior Adviser to the President of Kosovo, John Grogan, MP and Alexander Duma, Chairman of BAKC.
