24 and 25 November 2006: Bloody Foreigners at the Royal Opera House
Bloody Foreigners performed for two nights on the 24th and 25th November in the Firsts programme of the Royal Opera House as part of the Refugee & the Arts Initiative. Bloody Foreigners are a London-based band formed in 2004. It draws influences from Balkan music with a tinge of pop and rock. Although accordion and clarinet are sometimes heard in their gigs, the band consists of four permanent members:

Fatos Derguti (second from right), Bass and back vocals
Ard Kelmendi (first on left), Lead guitar
Jeton Kulinxha (not pictured), Drums
So far the band has played many events around the Kosovan/Albanian community such as fundraisers, birthday parties and gigs at KOHA Bar in London's Leicester Square. Their first album is expected to be finished by January 2007 alongside the video of one of their songs.
