19 August 2005: Trip to Hampton Court Palace

The great kitchens were very interesting, with a real wood burning fire to cook on, although the food on display was modelled, and not real. There was a chance to meet actors dressed in costume from the period, who could tell us about life in the Palace.

Later in the day we went to the BFI Imax Cinema at Waterloo and saw 'Haunted Castle', a 3D movie about a boy who inherits an imposing castle from his mother. Visit the Imax website to find out more about the film.
